FAQs

What type of trauma do you work with

I support women with a wide range of trauma—including complex trauma (C-PDSD), attachment wounds, emotional neglect, invalidation, and childhood and adult experiences that continue to shape how they feel today.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain process and integrate traumatic experiences that may still be stuck. Many clients report significant relief in just a few sessions.

What is IFS?

IFS is a gentle, powerful approach that helps you connect with all the “parts” of you—especially the ones that are anxious, angry, or overwhelmed—and help them find healing.

What Is DBT?

DBT teaches life skills that we often don’t learn growing up. We learn how to be present in the moment, to let go of shoulds and judgments, recognize and regulate our emotions, survive life crises and develop clear and effective communication skills.

I’ve been in therapy before.  How is this different?

Many of my clients have tried talk therapy but didn’t feel lasting change. This work goes deeper—targeting the nervous system, stored trauma, and the beliefs you hold about yourself.

Do you do online sessions?

Yes! I only work with women across California through secure telehealth sessions. You can access trauma-informed care from the comfort of your own space.

Do we talk abut painful memories right away

Only if and when you feel ready. I’ll guide you in building inner resources first, so you feel safe and supported before we explore deeper material. EMDR and IFS are kinder, more gentle ways to resolve trauma.

Can I really feel better?
Yes. Healing is absolutely possible. It takes time and intention, but I’ve seen transformation happen over and over again.
